I unfortunately have no image but will try and describe it as best I can

Long black body Bright Orange/Red legs seem flying around late evening length around 2/3 of a credit card length

I know it's slightly viage but any help would be gracefully received as I have never seen one before.
 
Hope these help (I know it's a little rubbish) but these are the best we could do.

I have just had a thought could it be a Pimpla pedalis as someone else as just had a p/m sent me on another site any help would be great

Yes, it's an Ichneumon Wasp. Whether it's Pimpla pedalis, Pimpla rufipes or another one I wouldn't like to say!
