Wildlife Photography Trip to Kenya 2015 - 2016

I would like some information on the best time of the year to visit Kenya.
Mainly to visit one or two Safari parks, and photography the wildlife, etc. Im thinking of later in the year or early 2016. Many Thanks in advance.

Hi Lord Muck, try asking on Safaritalk.net. Lots of seasoned safari travellers there and also many wildlife photographers.

All the best

Jo.

What's the level of your photographic aspirations? There are those who run safaris aimed more at photographers (pro-photographer guide, first out / last back, fewer people per vehicle, photo time before food before sleep) but you'll pay for the privilege.

So if you want first-class photo opportunities and can afford it, you could do a lot worse than go with David Lloyd. Based on his dates, for the 'great migration' do Aug to mid-sept while for the big cats, Feb-March.

Hi Lord Muck
Thanks for your kind Photo safari inquiry. To answer you, am a Kenyan and do operate both birding and wildlife tours in Kenya under the name of nature's Wonderland Safaris visit My web www.natureswonderlandsafaris.com To respond to you the best time to be in Kenya for Wildlife photography is during the month of JULY-OCT but the best climax is Aug and Sept when the Annual wildebeest Migration is happening in Masai Mara but also it is the peak season for the tourist too!! so it requires early bookings as well it requires your devolution in selecting best place to be during that time to be able to capture most of the dramatic events and predators too on their active time!! due to plenty of ungulates to feed on!! other time would be the month of JAN- FEB when there is minimal clients but dry so chances of seeing more is possible. If you wish to get more information please you can email me at info@natureswonderlandsafaris.com

Wish you good luck as you gather more informations.
