Attacks on nesting Arctic terns by thugs (1 Viewer)

There is a certain 'type' of person these days who believes that they can do what they like, (be it park their car, walk their dog, play their music loud etc etc), and to hell what anyone, or anything else thinks, they are gonna do it anyway. My guess is that the tern colony is where they wanted to walk their dogs and it would be easier without the terns there, so bye-bye terns. Sadly this type seems to be on the increase.

What gets me about stories like these is statements reportedly made, "The environment department said anyone who injures, kills or disturbs Arctic Terns could face prosecution." That should not be "could" but should be "will". We slag off Mediterranean countries, but do little ourselves. It's a joke.
