A single parrot bone was discovered in the Baikal region of Siberia, dating to between 16 and 18 million years ago. It is the furthest north a parrot has been found.

Admittedly not native, but Ring-necked Parakeets occur today at some localities further north than Baikal ....even in the UK (Edinburgh?)

Yeah but they're descended from escapes, no? And the Uk didn't exist 18 mllion years ago. It was part of the People's Republic of Pangaea or summat.
