I was out at Ardmore point today on the Clyde. There was a raft of ducks with some mergansers mixed in, but I think they're eclipse eiders, but not too sure about eclipses.
Also waders always seem to stump me, I'm pretty sure there was a dunlin and possibly sandpipers?
The photos were through my scope hence the lack of clarity

I remember getting bitten by a bloody big fly there. Wasn't impressed. That and I dipped the Red-throated Diver that was reported the day before. But I did see a Twite and Gropper, so not all bad...
