Considering vitec owns both companies, does anyone know if the two companies share parts?

kind of like VW, Bugatti>Lamourghini>Audi>VW, bently seat prosche... whatevs, certain parts will be shared in each. (dunno what the buisness term for this is)
 
I used to own Manfrotto tripods (still use a couple of their heads), now I use Gitzo. As far as I can see a few of their QR plates are compatible but that is about it as far I know!
