In addition to Radio and TV Alerts, this forum may need renaming: Radio, TV, and Twitter Alerts....

Announcements of the British Ornithologists’ Union Twitter conference: here from the BOU and here from Forbes.com.

Conference started today, 28 Nov @ 1200 UTC (London time) and runs till 1200 UTC tomorrow 29 Nov.

If you haven't figured out how to access the knowledge base here's the tutorial.

First off you don't need to be viewing the actual tweets during the time of the presentation, which are basically a video/slide show of their research. The data will be memorialized on tweerter long after the presentation is over. However, if you want to ask questions you obviously need to be present in real time and have a tweeter account.

1. Start here, select your topic of interest from the links at the bottom of the page (Sessions).
2. Click on the Presenter's tweeter link (@nameofpresenter) which opens his/her tweeter page.
3. Coordinate you local time to UTC here if you want to view the presentation in real time.

That's it......either be there at the start or view it all any time after closing on the 29th.
