I came across this competition accidentally, and I'd like to invite all of you
to join me in submitting images for this competition!
They are not the prizes, but the challenge to give life to the Birds ,which
unfortunately,are extinct or believed to be extinct, due to the humans activities.

I saw this a while ago, and thought about getting some pictures sent in -trouble is, I haven't seen any of the birds that I could paint, but then as no-one else has either - that shouldn't be a problem!

Is it me, or do they just want photos, not paintings?? It seems to read that way....

It seems to be so, but as already said, the invitation to the artists is hidden!
If you'll click on "great prizes" you'll see, below the fifth prize, that there are three additional prizes for photos and paintings plus the species list.

I discovered a very interesting Dutch website with Three-dimensional images of extinct birds. Excellent reference material for everyone who consider to participate.
