RAW pictures with FZ18 (1 Viewer)

I've just started using my fz18 to take RAW pictures. With my Canon SLR I just open these with Paintshop Pro, unfortunately this doesn't work with the Panasonic ones. The provided software is Silkypic, which appears to be in a different language to me. Does anyone use their Panasonic to take RAW pictures and have a simple solution.

Cheers

Hi, Steve.

You could try downloading the Adobe DNG converter programme. This coverts FZ18 raw files. I'm not certain that it would then allow you to open them with Paintshop Pro (I use Photoshop Elements), but it's free to download so you've got nothing to lose by giving it a try. This is the web link: www.adobe.com/products/dng/

Cheers,

Malcolm
