Unidentified Bird (1 Viewer)

Several weeks ago a friend of mine spotted this 'bird' wandering about near where he lives and has been trying to find out what it is ever since without success. It was there for a couple of days and then disappeared.

I've searched all of my British & European Bird Guides but I can't find anything remotely like it so I suspect it might have escaped from somewhere. It certainly not like any of our native birds.

He says it was about the size of a Partridge.

Best wishes
