Any suggestions as to the size required, material used etc. would be most welcome. The site, in Norfolk, is south-facing and open to sunlight.

My initial thought was to make a wedge shape ( i.e. like a slice of cake on its side) with the thin edge facing north, using a mixture of sand and stones. Would the higher end need to be made of clay in order to prevent it collapsing though?

And what's an ideal angle for the front end?

It should be possible to get a small digger in so that would make things a bit easier.

TIA, Thomas
