roblems with downloading from Google Play Books (1 Viewer)

Mark Newsome

Born to seawatch...
I've just purchased the 'Birds of the Indian Subcontinent' (Inskipp) from Play Books. It works fine when connected to wi-fi (great book, even better with all the embedded calls/songs), but as I'm going to India in a couple of days, I want to download to use it offline.
It starts to download, sometimes reaches the end (sometimes shows as going to 125% downloaded!), but always ends with a "download failed" message. I've tried refresh and removing download as Help suggests, tried from both tablet and android phone, but still the same. I have used Play Books before and other books have downloaded successfully.
Has anyone had similar with Google Play Books, and have you been able to eventually get the book to download fully? Any tricks to get round the issue?

Mark
