I'm lookin into (pun intened) the new 65 mm scope and am already disapointed with the eye relief of the zoom eyepiece made for it. I will probably get the 12 mm fixed power. I also have a Celestron C 90 and three eyepieces tha will fit the Pentax. The 10 mm Lanthanum will provide 39X with 20 mm eye relief.
Is there any particular type of eyepiece that is recomended, or not, for terrestrial viewing? For example, the Meade zoom has better eye relief than the "little" pentax zoom and is not the "hand grenade size of the $500 pentax one.
