It feels kinda wrong to be posting on this thread in the manner that some people are.

But I don't think I'll be able to resist at some point ;)

I wonder if the bins will go to those who deserve them the most, morally speaking?

Just in case ...

I should just mention that my own bins are currently 'broken' and will remain that way for some time (focus has jammed up) as I can't afford to get them fixed. (They are ok as long as the bird is in the far distance - woodland/small birds closer to are impossible).

A second pair would also be rather handy as the girlfriend is now becoming more interested in the birds and it would be nice at weekends to go out birding together. She doesn't even have any bins.
