See on the Erith Marshes earlier today. I initially thought it slightly lighter on the back &c. than it actually is wondering about a Greenshank but I think this might be a Green Sandpiper please? A million thanks in advance .....

Yes. Green Sandpiper are much darker on the upperparts than other waders, smaller and shorter billed than Greenshank and have that obvious white eyeing.
