I am going to buy a Zeiss Diascope 85T but in shops I only found the ones without Lotutec coatings.

Is it much diference without Lotutec coating?

The difference is that Lotutec coatings shed water more readily. Rain drops, for example, will simply bead up and are easily blown away with a few bursts of a hand-held blower. Whether or not this is a necessary feature is up to you. Non-Lotutec surfaces will wipe perfectly clean with just a tad more effort.

There is no difference in optical performance between Lotutec and non-Lotutec.

Hi Ori, I know your English is a lot better than my Spanish. So you will be landing in the U.S. in three days and one of your places to see is Yosemite Park if they can keep Tioga Pass open. I hope you brought a camera.:) I hope you have fun here and find friendly people.
Regards,Steve
