Elements 10 issues (1 Viewer)

Hi guys/girls
Need some help ,my elements programme seems to be creating two edited copies of a photo ,and not saving the original, it's driving me mad has only done this over the last couple of weeks ,with not changing anything different from before this problem occurred ,have tried every option I think hope somebody can help

Have you tried uninstalling the program then reinstalling it? Always good for a lot of unexplained problems.
