Bird recognition app (1 Viewer)

I am new to birding and am looking into the apps for helping/showing the birds when trying to decide which birds I am looking at. So rather than taking a book out with I was looking into the Apps for my phone.

Any advise/opinions on the best one/s to look at? I don't have an Iphone so it needs to work with android.

As always your opinions are gratefully received.

Thanks

Rich

Many Thanks. I had not spotted that thread.

Have now downloaded 'Birds of Britain'. It tool a while to come down but does have lots of pictures, great reviews of all the birds and all their songs. I do like the fact you can group them by

resident
summer
winter passing
family

Great bargain i feel to start with at 69p.
