I do not understand why Ellis is the author of Malurus cyaneus (Ellis, 1782) and why 1782 and not 1783?

If I am right we can find here the OD and here a plate as part of the OD. The plate might be drawn by William Wade Ellis (but I don't know).

The book seems to be published by Latham? Or what is the referenced Ellis' Narr. p22?

OK, found it here. But still the question about the year, but possible explanation here. The question remains what's written on the first edition as date of publication? But very likely 1782.
