Appeal after rare bird eggs taken (BBC News) (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have any more info on this?

I am just wondering why 300 rare bird eggs would be in what apears to have been such a vulnerable position, and what species might be involved.

Doubtless the Pikies responsible will be wondering why their boiled eggs taste a bit strange for the next few days....
