I must admit i am not much of a birder. A dutchman living on the island of Aruba in the Caribbean. I do understand we have some special birds out here, migratory terns that travel here from Brasil to nest. We live really close by the sea (with an unobstructed view) and we recently got involved in sea turtle conservation.
I was attracted to the forum because of the information on optics. I am working up to buying my first spotting scope. Looking for something nice and powerful, yet light and small enough to want to take it with me on a holiday.
I must say i found lots of info already.
