Hawke Frontier (1 Viewer)

My local LCE seem to have some good reductions on Frontier ED 20-60x80 scopes.
Anyone any experience of these? Like most people on a budget and wouldn't get chance to use a scope that often so can't justify top of the range models

I owned the Mk1 non ED Hawke frontier and was very satisfied with it. FOV was impressive as was light transmission, however it was shaken quite literally to pieces on a dirt road in Namibia. Apparently the newer models are excellent value for money, and the ED version has recieved some positive reviews. Here is a review of the Endurance 65mm model, which I believe is the cheaper of the two. http://www.birdwatch.co.uk/channel/reviewitem.asp?c=11&review=2925

thanks
