Small flock. Cumbria UK (1 Viewer)

Hello, saw this flock last week in the fields surrounding the tidal flats at Greenodd, Cumbria.

Sorry about the picture quality, they were moving quite fast, occasionally settling in the fields.

Smaller than Starling, & wrong colour for Goldfinch

They look like a flock of overwintering Skylarks.

We hadnt thought of skylarks' as havent seen them in those numbers before, after searching skylark flight images, they do look as we saw them through the bins.
