Today was quite a good birding day. We went up to Holyrood park to see the raven pair that breeds there. On the journey up I saw buzzards, two grey herons, lapwings and a kestrel.

In Holyrood, plenty of carrion crows and magpies, plus gulls. The highlight was seeing a peregrine falcon soaring above the cliffs. Sadly, we didn't see the ravens.

On they back, plenty of buzzards were seen plus a grey heron.
