north coast of Dorset in July (1 Viewer)

Hello

I will spent my holydays in July at the north coast of Dorset/UK. Could anyone recommend me some good birding-places? “Most wanted” species are puffin, rockpipt, shag, roseate tern, Cetti´s and dartfort warbler.
And book dealing with birding-places in this region?
Many thanks in advance!

Yes , shame on me.

Devon is the place where I will go.

I thought that might be where you meant ;). I think a lot of the species you mention might be found more easily in south Devon e.g. Cetti's and Dartford Warbler. Rock Pipit and Shag should be found relatively easily in north Devon in areas with rocky coasts. A boat trip to the island of Lundy would be good for seabirds generally.
