St Lucia, South Africa - Bat Hawk? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,
just hanging around waiting for a cab to the airport and I remembered an un-identified bird I took a photo of in late February this year in St Lucia village (KZN, South Africa). Looking at the picture again, I'm getting the impression that its a bat hawk. Any comments?
Cheers,
Damien

Bat Hawk has a very falcon-like silhouette with long pointed wings broadest at the base. It may be the angle at which the image was taken but your bird looks more Accipiter-like.

Hello,
I'm going to take a stab with cuckoo hawk; though I haven't been to southern africa for a few years
