Sorry for the quality of the picture here. I digiscoped this Goldfinch this morning thinking it was a Lesser but after uploading it I'm now thinking maybe it's a Lawrence's. Any thoughts?

I'll third that, has that distinctive Male Lesser cap on its head. It is of the hesperophila "green-back" subspecies as opposed to the psaltria "black-backed" supspecies. A Lawrence's would have had a Black face and chin as well as the cap.

It looks like a juvie male to me (incomplete black cap), which would explain the lack of color. It does look more gray than the adults I have around my yard.
