My Garden List

Before I write out the actual list I need to outline my garden tick rules:
  • The birds have to be seen from the grounds of my house
  • The birds can't be escapees
Here is the list so far (of the top of my head:
  1. Blackbird
  2. Blue Tit
  3. Great Tit
  4. Chaffinch
  5. Siskin
  6. Goldfinch
  7. Buzzard
  8. Glossy Ibis (seen on Wednesday 28th September 2016)
  9. White Stork (2 have been seen, one on May 1st 2017 and one a few years before that)
  10. Wren
  11. Great Spotted Woodpecker
  12. Dunnock
  13. Black-headed Gull
  14. Lesser Black-Backed Gull
  15. Herring Gull
  16. Common Gull
  17. Cormorant
  18. Pied Wagtail
  19. Mallard
  20. Red-Legged Partridge
  21. Rook
  22. Carrion Crow
  23. Jackdaw
  24. Collared Dove
  25. Woodpigeon
  26. Redwing
  27. Fieldfare
  28. Song Thrush
  29. Long-tailed Tit
  30. Coal Tit
  31. Sparrowhawk
  32. Kestrel
  33. Starling
  34. Swallow
  35. House Martin
  36. Jay

Nice list Louis, why not count birds heard from your place too, I've just heardCuckoo here for the first time this year so it's going on my list!
Have you seen the Garden/Yard list 2017 thread, it's always good to see what people are seeing/ hearing around the world(and it's not a 'my garden list can beat up yours' type of thread, which this one risks becoming).
