Another day in north wales, no raritys, but some not so common for
me.Never been to rhos- on- sea before quite pleased with birds seen
30+turnstone
10 ringed plover
20 redshank
15 curlew
30+oystercatcher
1 common scoter(male)
1 guillemot
20+sandwich terns
2 rock pipit
8 gbb gull

Also a brief view of a grey seal:t:

In the afternoon went to rspb conwy, paid a visit here last week, got another tick 10 red breasted merganser,also
3 bar-tail-godwit
15+ black- tail-godwit
8 dunlin
12 little egret
1 shelduck(juv)
1 gadwall(male)
Also a large number of redshank,curlew,oystercatcher,wigeon and teal.:t:
 
Sounds like a good day. If you get back to RSPB Conwy, take a walk along the estuary path away from the reserve towards the castle for a distance of 100-200 metres. Most days in the last few weeks I've seen half a dozen or more Cormorants and probably a similar number of Grey Herons along there, though there's usually one or two of the latter loitering within the reserve.
