I need to know the name of this bird! (1 Viewer)

Hi all

I live in Shetland, and on a recent visit to Whalsay, became aware of a bird that creates a noise as it flies downwards, due to the air passing through it's feathers.

I am going slightly daft trying to remember the name of it. Anyone?

There's a B :) in it, the next time you are up this way ;)
 
Thank you! You know, I thought it was, but when I did an obviously poor attempt at a google for it, I couldn't find any mention of the sound.

If you're ever in Shetland, I'll get you a pint :)
