Pupa ID – North East England (1 Viewer)

I hope this is the right place to post this. I'm not sure if the attached photo will be detailed enough for anyone to make an ID, but I'd be interested to know what is in this cocoon.

It is hanging from the ceiling in my garden shed. It's not very big – about 2cm, I would say. The garden is just a small suburban one, although there is farmland nearby.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks.
