OPTICRON Adapter with Swarovski and Samsung (1 Viewer)

Maybe of interest to some, I managed to get a very good connection on my x30wide eyepiece using the Digiscoping kit currently marketed by Opticron - it features the Samsung i5 camera but the useful, solid and fairly quick operation of their DCC adapter with the bespoke cradle was a pleasant surprise with no vignetting......you do need to choose the correct insert (made of delrin)..... the success imo was the lightness, lack of bulk and the affordability. Hope this if some use to someone out there.

Purtle-What quality pictures are you obtaining with the Samsung setup?
Not as good as one would hope for - the image on the screen is acceptable, whilst the finished product is sadly below my expectations. Even test shots on stationary objects are falling short of what is achievable these days. As a control test I changed camera, back to a Nikon CP, AND this did result in improved definition.
