Hi there

These photos where taken at Cala Tirant, Menorca over the salt marshes.

Sorry, as they are not the best quality to work off.

The reason why i thought that it may be a possible (Juvenile) Marsh Harrier is due to the colouration of the BoP, and I think I can see a yellow patch on its head :gh:

is the question if the bird is a marsh harrier or if its a juv. marsh harrier. Because I can tell you that it is a marsh harrier but i'm not sure if its a juv.

ts hard to be sure from the photos but it does look quite dark which suggests a first year bird. Its a bit early for a juv., although down here in Portugal the first juv. Montagu's are just flying now.
