Angled or Straight...but what if (1 Viewer)

Nikon could produce an adjustable one that could be either straight or angled?

Now, I'd like to know why this is not possible and if it is, why there aren't any already :)

That is a good question, but an angled scope requires an extra lens set for the angle.
As in any optic, the optical design must be set and configured for its use.

I do hope someone can offer more on this subject. I have only straight scopes, and am
thinking they have an advantage over the angled due to the extra lens surfaces required
on the angled scope.

The difference may be in transmission loss with more lenses, and I have not seen any
comparisons or reviews that discuss this subject.
