Last night gret big flocks of Redwings were flying over my village so a dawn start found me on the rifle range, there were loads of Redwings on the ground but very scitish, On Sunday a Grey Phalarope was found by another birder and was a great experience to see one, I have seen three in Lowestoft and all have been around the harbour and south pier. A Black Redstart was seen near the Lifeboat shed too, anyway back to today, loads of Robins and Dunnocks around too. I sometimes wonder just how many Redwings there are in these nocturnal flights, must be thousands. Like flocks of Starlings,
