Nikon Coolpix/Nikon Fieldscope 60 mm Combos (1 Viewer)

I have a 60 mm Nikon FIeldscope III ED with a 20-45 zoom. I want to get a Nikon camera, so I can eventually use the camera with an adaptor, if I decide to go that route. But in meantime, is there a Coolpix that would work well with my scope? (I'm considering the 4600 and P2. I mainly want the pictures for documenting rarities and studying fieldmarks.)
Thanks for any help you can offer.

I use the CP8400 very successfully with my scopes. The zoom range is limited, but you can zoom with the EP.
