Cardamom Pod

Very well, Dr. Humorous Droll
With good weather, I should be up at Crystal Lake on the 23rd. I was just wondering what kind of birds to expect, mainly if there might be any irruptive species. I'd love to see some redpolls and crossbills, but that might be optimistic. Other species I'm hoping for are purple finches, siskins, and grosbeaks. Mainly I just wanted to get those hopes out there:-O I did see a Northern Shrike on River Road last winter, though. And some interesting ducks on Crystal Lake.
