Most concise Europe/Middle East/North Africa Guide (1 Viewer)

I am looking for a really really illustration heavy ID guide (either field guide or not) - I would like it to illustrate lots of the subspecies of species and have large range maps and cover the greatest number of species.

Is my only option the two Concise BWPs?

I do and I don't rate it much illustratively ... text is good though
