Walked the perimeter of Alton Water today it took five hours & we walked eight miles. Of note:
Red Crested Pochard One Drake viewable from Rabbets
Wood Shore TM149361

Also 12 Common Redpoll by Craig hall Covert feeding on Larches TM153365

On the way there this morning at 7:30am we saw a fine Male Hen Harrier on
the field to the South of Snab Hill Gisleham ! Saw a ring tail here in 1994.
