Blue Jay

This Jay let me get close enough with my little camera to get a fairly good photo this morning as it was getting a drink. Thanks for looking.

That certainly is a lovely picture Steven. Why not put it in the Gallery as well - it'd make a great start for you.

Our blooming Jays never come out for viewing at all - I only ever hear them in woodland or see a flash of a white rump as they fly off.

Thanks, I'm still trying to learn my way around the site. I will see if I can figure out how to put the photo in the gallery.

Steven, very nice shot. And I agree with Delia - if you put it in the gallery more will see and enjoy it. If you have trouble just let us know and we'll help.

Hi again Steven

You've already done the hard bit by re-sizing your picture. Just click on the Gallery tab at the top, then click on the big orange button on the RHS and select the correct Category from the drop down list. Fill in as many of the fields as you can.

Don't be afraid to ask if you want more help.

Nice shot! I do love Blue Jays. Since Blue Jays are so large and obvious (and listed as common for Baltimore County), I am surprised by how rarely I have seen them.
