Northern Wheatear (1st Winter) - Aberaeron, Wales (1 Viewer)

Hi All

As the weather closed in there were a lot of interesting birds knocking about, various wagtails, pipits and others all around the harbour walls. Seemed to be a massive feeding ground for the insect loving birds. Definitely worth another visit but I ran out of time......................................................................

The only clear shots I could get were of what I suspect is a juv. Northern Wheatear. I don't usually do any post processing but I needed to lighten this so I had a chance to see what it was.

Thanks

Gareth

Yes a female for first year Northern Wheatear - I'd guess the latter as it looks very 'trim'.
