How to ID rufous vs Allen's hummers -- how to tell the difference?

Which is this? It was photographed in Jackson County, Southern Oregon. Thank you!

I take it as a Rufous...
-All rufous back & tail
-no green irradescent crown as seen on Allen's
-bill length to head depth is closer to Rufous
-outer tail feathers broader than to be expected on Allen's
*- just stumbled across link below, note your bird fits criteria
New way to ID Selasphorus

ABA piece....Identification of Selasphorus Hummingbirds

Females are problematic, best left to others more experienced than myself
with Selasphorus (sasin & rufus)
