1) A fly? My garden, Norfolk, 2nd June 2010.
2) Is this a hoverfly? Ditto; 24th June 2010.
3) Spotted Crane-fly? Ditto; 25th June 2010.
4) Grasshopper sp.. Ditto; 25th June 2010.
5) Grasshopper sp., Pensthorpe, 2nd July 2010.

1) I think is a Bibionid fly
2) Is a robberfly. Looks like the genus Dioctria.
 
Thanks Bob. I'll do some further research now I've got some idea of where to look.
