Need help figuring out what bird I have! (1 Viewer)

Fairly new to this forum so not 100% sure I'm posting in the correct area, so I apologise if I am!

Over the weekend my girlfriend and I were just outside the Serpentine Falls area in Perth, when we came across a 7 week old parrot (we think), drowning in mud and tangled up in branches. We're currently feeding him hand rearing food and small seeds. He seems to be recovering quite. He is green throughout most of his body, some on his head hasn't grown through yet, and he has a little bit of red and blue under his wings.

But we're just curious what type of bird he is, so if anyone can help it'd be greatly appreciated.

Were you near any Eucalyptus forest?

Based on bill colour and location, Red-capped Parrot is a possibilty but in reality, I think you'll have to wait for this bird to become an adult for a certain ID.

I think Swift Parrot is out of range there?
