A Glorious sunny day spent on the Common, mainly to see the Juv. Woodchat Shrike, but impressed by the number and variety of other birds- flock 50+ Goldfinches, uncountable number of Whinchats, Stonechat, Wheatear, Skylarks, Redstarts, Spotted Flycatchers and numerous Chiffchaffs/Willow Warblers in the hedges & trees surounding the Common.
Just an hour & half from Brum, will definately be back again.
PS Forgot the Lesser Whitethoat!
