florida bird giving me grief (1 Viewer)

This photo I know is not very good. It was taken in Florida, March in the corkscrew swamp. Can some one figure it out. The horizontal lines have me stumped

Boat-tailed Grackle for me but that need verification of the US guys.
The horizontal lines aren´t on the plumage/feathers itself but feather parts you can see due the birds fluffed up plumage. Is that understandable?
