Two photos from one day and two photos from a different day. The bird in the first two was able to stretch it's neck like the bird in the second two. I just don't have a photo of it doing it.

Legs are quite long for both birds.

Both sets of photos taken at the same place within feet of each other. A tidal mud flat.
