237 Curlew Sand, 14 Caspian Tern in Camargue (1 Viewer)

Hi there,
Just heard from the Camargue in the Rhone delta, a short train trip from the UK with SNCF the National French railways and not too costly as I heard you can get to the Camargue and back in the UK for about £80.00 return.

They organise skiing holidays and associated travel, also for Christmas hols!
Down there at present at least 237 Curlew Sandpiper with masses of other nice waders and usual goodies like 14 Caspian Tern which appear to be resident down there.Also on the Crau semidesert east of Arles nearby are Rollers, Lesser Kestrel and heaps of other great birds!
