Wacker Quey and Rame.

Wacker first thing Black Kite flew out of high stand of trees.Adult Spoonbill on main river farside and 1 Common Sandpiper.

Rame.
Female Hen Harrier flushed from stubble field along milatery road.Allso seen 2 Raven,5 Buzzard,20+ Meadow Pipit,30+ Linnet,2 Chiffchaff,1 Spoted Flycatcher,4 Skylark,30+ Wood Pigeon.

Stithians Reservoir - 05/10/2007
Activity finally on the up with 1 Wood Sandpiper juv present from the southern hide today. I was gob-smacked to read in the log book that it had been present since 30th September! Still, a lovely bird.

That's interesting, 8 were reported flying over, heading South West at Gyllyngvase Beach near Falmouth a couple of days ago . Quite possibly the same group of birds!
