A day trip to Cornwall (1 Viewer)

Once a bird lover ... always a bird lover
Hi there

We are going for a day trip to Cornwall on the 3rd April 2010.

We are going via Great Railway Adventures.

Any places worth a look into ie Reserves, Parks etc...

It is an early start so we will pack as much into the day that we can.

Any suggestions would be appreciated :t:

Kathy

Marazion would be worth a look in. Anywhere in West Penwith or the Lizard should have migrants coming in so there will be a good chance of some exciting species turning up like Woodchat Shrike or even Greater Spotted Cuckoo. Plus you have the Choughs on the Lizrd to look out for

hi Jacana

Thank you for your reply and your suggestions for our trip.

A Shrike would be a great addition to my bird list anyday! :-O

I found that we will be close to Penanze area in Cornwall

So we will see what we can squeeze into our day out.
